Lot Description

An early 20th century 15ct gold aquamarine and seed pearl brooch. Of foliate design, the seed pearl and circular-shape aquamarine flower within a circular spaced seed pearl surround. Stamped 15. Length 2cms. With fitted maker's case.

Condition Report

The overall condition is good. There are scratches to the mount in keeping with general wear and the pin is a possible replacement. The aquamarines are a bright blue with good colour saturation. The pearls are a creamy white with a fair lustre and minor surface blemishes.
