Lot Description

A 1970s silver dish in the form of a shell resting on two scrolled feet, engine turned handle and beaded edging, hallmarked C J Vander Ltd, London 1977, measuring 14.8 cm at widest point. Together with a two Victorian silver items, a circular child's rattle with pendant and suspension loop and a decorative dressing table pot. Gross weight 159.2 grams. (3)

Shell dish in good general condition - silver showing general wear and tear, could do with a good clean as is showing discolouration. Victorian rattle hallmarked Cornelius Desormeaux Saunders & James Francis Hollings Shepherd, Chester 1899, showing wear and tear in keeping with age, including some denting to main body, diameter approximately 3.5 cm. Decorative dressing table pot in very good condition considering age, hallmarks clear, silver showing minimal wear, lid comes off and on well, inside showing discolouration, diameter 3.7 cm, height approximately 5.2 cm.
