Lot Description

Late Victorian silver matched five piece dressing table set comprising a hand mirror, a pair of hair brushes, a clothes brush and a cylindrical lidded pot, each piece obliquely embossed all over with alternating lobes and flutes around a central initialled cartouche.  Each piece hallmarked London 1888, maker's mark for hand mirror is John Septimus Beresford, for the pair of hair brushes is Charles Stuart Harris and for the lidded pot and clothes brush is William Comyns & Sons.  Together with two silver handled button hooks and a silver handled shoe horn.
