Lot Description

Edwardian silver mounted mirror of shaped navette form with easel back, the silver border embossed with eclectic images of flowers, cherubs, shells and husks. Hallmarked Samuel Jacob London 1901. Height measuring 9 3/4 inches (25 cm).

Condition Report

Silver mount displays general wear and surface marks and scratches. It is also quite tarnished. There are some small holes in the metal in places and one larger one towards the base. The mount is coming away from the backing in places. Hallmarks very dirty but legible. Surface marks and scratches to mirror. Material backing very deteriorated.
