A 1920's large silver inkwell of capstan form, reeded borders, clear glass liner and personal engraving to the hinged domed lid. Hallmarked Walker & Hall Sheffield 1920. Height measuring 2 1/2 inches (6.5 cm).

Condition Report
The inkwell displays general scratches, marks and heavy noticeable tarnishing, therefore would benefit from a clean. Clear glass liner present to the interior. The hinge allows some sideways movement. The hallmarks are clear and legible. The engraving reads ' Presented to M.W. Jones Esq president 1916 - 1921. Brislington Rifle Club by the members on the occasion of his Silver Wedding 3. June 1921'.
