Lot Description

Victorian silver hip flask with panelled engine turned decoration, detachable cup, screw lid, monogramed circular cartouche and personal inscription to the inner base. Hallmarked London 1864, makers' mark indistinct, retailed by Hopkins 22 New Bon St. Height measuring 5 1/2 inches (14 cm), weight 7 ozt (221 grams).

The Victorian silver hip flask appears in very good condition displaying light general scratches and marks. The engine turned decoration appears very crisp. The lid displays some dents also a repair visible to the neck. The hallmarks are clear and legible, the makers mark indistinct possibly T.J.
