Early 20th century silver stamp holder modelled in the form of a bow front desk, with twin ball handles and hinged cover. Hallmarked A & J Zimmerman Ltd (Arthur & John Zimmerman). Maximum length measures 6cm, weight 52.7 grams.

The item displays general wear, tarnishing and surface marks and scratches commensurate with the age and use. Minor nicks/dints in places and also remnants of polish. Possible repair to one of the legs. Hallmarks clear and legible, maker's mark slightly rubbed but still legible.
