An early twentieth century 9ct gold double sovereign holder, the top with freemason inscription for Holie Lodge. Hallmarked Birmingham 1908. Length 2 1/8 inches (5.5cm). Weight 25.4 grams.

Condition Report
The lot is in fair to good overall condition with scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. There are more noticeable dents with some wear to the inscription. There is an unhallmarked strengthening band to the inside. The hallmarks are significantly worn with the worn makers mark J W * each within an individual cartouche. The lid does not close tightly.
