Lot Description

A Victorian silver purse and writing case of rectangular form with scroll and foliate detail front and back, central monogrammed cartouche and side hinge, opening to reveal  green leather interior with two side pouches, ivory panel and retractable silver pencil. Case hallmarked William Thorneywork, Birmingham 1899. Pencil hallmarked Francis Webb. Measuring 98mm x 70mm. Gross weight 100 grams.
