The Victorian horse shoe brooch has a large dint to the front, to one of the Scottish brooches there is a small chip and crack to the triangular agate, there is discolouration around the centre imitation opal to another Scottish brooch which seems to have been caused by adhesive. To the singular Victoria coin brooch has a loose replacement pin. The dog brooch is noticeably tarnished.
