An early 20th century 9ct gold combination retractable pen and pencil with floral engraved case and ornate push-piece clasps revealing a pencil and nib pen and shield-shape foil-backed gem terminal. Stamped 9ct. Length 11cms. Weight 15.8gms.

The lot is in fair to good overall condition with light scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The terminal is a slightly different colour and may be a replacement. The gem is significantly abraded. There is the monogram F.A.W. engraved to the cartouche.
