Lot Description

An early 20th century split pearl retractable pencil, the quatrefoil split pearl clusters to the polished casing. Three split pearls deficient. Signed J & C Beasley 18ct. Extended length 6.5cms. Weight 12.5gms.

Condition Report

Overall condition is fair. Seed-pearls have a grey-pink overtone. The majority of the stones are chipped, or have sustained surface pitting. Three seed pearls deficient, seemingly replaceable. Metal has some surface scratches and minor dents in keeping with general wear.
