A French Palais Royal-style jewellery box
Of canted oblong form, the hinged bronze-effect cover centred by an 18th Century-style female portrait miniature signed 'Mary', within relief-cast cornucopiae and scrollwork, the glass body applied with ribbon-topped floral swags, on four putto mask supports, 7.25" x 4.5" x 4.25" high, (18.5cm x 11.5cm x 11cm)
