Lot Description

A late Victorian Royal naval officers sword. The brass hilt with lions head pommel and pebbled bowl guard by Edward Thurkle, folding latch and initials ET. Crown and fouled anchor motif and RNR detail. The etched blade marked Firmin & Son, Strand London. In leather scabbard. Overall length 37.5" (95.25cm)
