Lot Description

A 9ct gold Masonic hardstone fob seal. The engraved circular-shape chalcedony to the openwork surmount with various Masonic motifs. Hallmarks for Chester. Length 3.2cms. Weight 4.8gms.

Condition Report

In good overall condition with dents and scratches in keeping with general wear. There is discolouration to parts of the surmount. The chalcedony panel has some obvious chips to the engraving and a large chip to one side leaving a gap in the setting. The fob would benefit from a gentle clean. With pendant fitting.
