Lot Description

A silver manual wind gentleman's wrist watch by Unicorn, the silvered guilloche pattern dial with hourly applied Arabic numerals, bordered by a minute track, subsidiary seconds dial to six o'clock, octagonal shaped case with import hallmarks for Glasgow 1924, stamped R.W.C and numbered 75530, fitted to an associated black leather strap with pin buckle, signed fifteen jewel movement. Case width 33mm.

Unicorn gentleman's wrist watch, manual wind movement is currently functioning, tiny marks to the silvered dial with some erosion of the black Arabic numerals, minute track and seconds track to the subsidiary dial, tiny marks and some discolouration to the hands, lglass has light scratches which should polish out, some heavy tarnishing in particular to the sides and front of the case, medium scratching and tiny dints also to the case with some areas of damage where the case back has been opened, replacement crown, some creasing and rubbing to the leather strap with pin buckle.


Due to the opening of this case back we recommend that this watch is sealed by an authorised technician before use near water.
