Lot Description

An 18K gold key wind open face pocket watch, the gilt dial with hourly applied black Roman numerals, bordered by a minute track, floral decoration to the centre, the ornately decorated round case, stamped '18 carat' with poincon, vacant cartouche to the rear, personal engraving to cuvette, fitted with a Swiss bar movement with cylinder escapement. Case diameter 35mm. Total weight 29gms.

18K pocket watch, movement is currently not functioning, dial has surface scratches and marks visible, hour hand is broken with part of hand loose, glass is scratched from use, case has medium scratches from wear, edge of case shows some light rubbing to design, dust cover is flexible and has engraving which reads T.L. GODFREY. 57 WILTON ROAD, BELGRAVIA, S.W.' bow is stamped 375.
