Lot Description

A Victorian 18ct gold key wind full hunter pocket watch signed James Dawson, the white enamel dial with hourly applied Roman numerals, bordered by a minute track, subsidiary seconds dial to six o'clock, round case hallmarked London circa. 1859, engine turned decoration to both the front and rear with engraved cartouche to the front, milled band, fitted with a signed three quarter plate movement with ratchet tooth lever escapement. Case diameter 47mm. Total weight 86gms.

James Dawson pocket watch, key wind movement is not currently functioning, tiny marks to the dial and hands, second hand is missing, glass is missing, case has medium scratches from general wear, rubbing to the engine turned decoration, rubbing also to the bow.
