Lot Description

A Victorian silver key wind open face pocket watch signed Alfred Russell & Co., the white enamel dial with hourly applied Roman numerals, bordered by a minute track, round ornately decorated case hallmarked Chester 1881, vacant cartouche to the rear, fitted with a signed movement with club tooth lever escapement. Case diameter 43mm.

Alfred Russell pocket watch, key wind movement is currently functioning, few tiny marks to the dial with a small chip to the centre, small piece of the minute hand has broken off, the glass is scratched, the silver case is heavily tarnished with medium scratches from general wear.
