Lot Description

A 20th century silver key wind open face pocket watch signed S. Sherwinter, the white dial with hourly applied black Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds dial positioned to six o'clock, all surrounded by a minute track, round case with milled band, engine turned decoration and a vacant cartouche to rear, hallmarked Chester 1904, fitted with a signed full plate movement with ratchet tooth lever escapement. Case diameter 56mm.

S. Sherwinter pocket watch, key wind movement is currently functioning, tiny marks to the dial, light cracking between two and three o'clock, tiny marks to the hands, the glass is lightly scratched with areas of tiny chips to the edge of the underside of the glass, the case has medium scratches, the engine turned decoration is slightly rubbed and there are also a few nicks to the case.
