Lot Description

A Victorian 18ct gold key wind full hunter pocket watch, the gilt textured dial with black Roman numerals, the ornately engraved case with floral and foliate detail and vacant cartouche, three quarter plate movement signed "Thos Penlington Liverpool", with a ratchet tooth lever escapement. Case diameter 42mm. Total weight 59gms.

18k gold pocket watch, key wind movement is not currently functioning, dial appears to be in good condition, there are some light surface scratches and marks as a result of use, hands appear to be in good condition, there is a small amount of paint work missing to the Roman numerals, glass is missing from pocket watch, ornately engraved case is in general good condition with signs of wear consisting of light scratches and scuffs, dust cover has light scratches and marks which are consistent with use.
