Lot Description

An Edwardian 15ct gold diamond brooch. Of marquise-shape outline, the old-cut diamonds within an openwork and filigree surround. Estimated total diamond weight 0.18ct. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1907. Length 4.2cms. Weight 4.9gms.

Condition Report

The lot is in overall good condition, there are slight scratches in keeping with general wear. There are areas of discolouration to the back of the brooch, the hallmark is very slightly rubbed. The diamonds are bright, some of the claws may need to be secured. The back pin and catch is secure.
