The brooch is in overall fair condition. The central amethyst is loose within the setting and would need attention, the amethyst is off straight. There are some slight scratches and chips to the amethyst. The amethyst is a pale to medium colour with visible colour banding stemming across the stone. The citrine are fairly well matched, some appear a little greeny yellow with areas of colour zoning. There are scratches to the setting in keeping with the age of the piece. The back pin is metal and appears to have been replaced. Weight 17.7gms. Jade untested for natural colour origin.
