Lot Description

A diamond and sapphire hinged bangle. The double-row of graduated circular-cut diamonds and circular-shape sapphires to the split half band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.50ct, H-I colour, SI1-P1 clarity. Inner diameter 5.8cms. Weight 15gms. With associated Boodle and Dunthorne case.

Condition Report

The bangle is in overall good condition. The diamonds are bright and lively. Nicks and a few chips can be seen to the girdle edges. No obvious inclusions can be seen to the centre of the diamonds. The sapphires have a 'cornflower' blue hue. The saturation is medium. Straight colour zoning and a few small fractures can be seen. The claws are worn and will need attention. Light scratches and scuffs can be seen, general wear.
