Lot Description

A diamond floral brooch. The old-cut diamonds to the foliate surmount. Estimated total diamond weight 2cts, H-I colour, SI1-P1 clarity. Length 4.2cms.

Condition Report

The brooch is in overall fair condition. The diamond panel appears to be possibly late 19th century and originally part of a larger piece, the back brooch fitting added at a later date. There is visible lead solder to the bar where the fitting has been attached. The diamonds are bright, the claws may need to be secured. Weight 6.8gms.
