A Victorian opal and diamond crescent brooch. The old-cut diamond flower to the graduated circular opal cabochon crescent surmount. Estimated total diamond weight 0.40ct, H-I colour, SI1-SI2 clarity. Length 2.3cms. See Plate 4.

Condition Report

The lot is in overall good condition, there are slight scratches in keeping with general wear. The diamonds are bright and the claw settings secure. The opals have a vibrant play of colour displaying pinks, greens and blues. Some of the settings may need to be secure. Weight 5.3gms.
