A Staffordshire pottery Toby jug modelled as a portly gentleman with two-piece tricorn hat and blue jacket, with spongework-decorated loop handle and base, 10.5”, (26.5cm) high, together with six Goebel character jugs modelled as monks and others, (7)

Staffordshire jug - heavy crazing and staining to cover of hat. Two chips to hat. Heavy crazing to body of jug.

Goebel - all structurally undamaged save for crazing and paint losses.

Toby jug - the removable hat hat has paint loss and some crazing. The rim to Toby jug hat has two large chips, may have been restored, the whole item is badly crazed. One knee has possibly been filled and re-painted. Some minor chips and paint loss to his sleeves and cuffs, jug is chipped and very dirty
