Lot Description

A damaged Doulton Lambeth stoneware vase by Mark Marshall of elongated ovoid form with flared neck, having bands of relief-moulded and sgraffito decoration in the Aesthetic taste including applied ferns and flowering plants, impressed date 1880, initials MVM, and scratched number 538 to base, 14" (35.5cm) high (rim losses), together with a Doulton Charles Dickens seriesware dish printed with "Mr Squeers" and a Belgian three-handled art pottery bottle vase, (3)

1. One loose section of the rim has been retained, but two pieces of the same loss are missing - total area to restore is 2" wide x 1" deep. Small chip to one flowerhead.

2. Minor rim nibbles, generally good.
