Lot Description

Two early 19th century Bilston-type enamel patch boxes. Each of oval form with internal mirror, the first painted with a bird seated upon a nest of eggs, within 'jewelled' pink and black border, on a spreading green body, 1.75", (4.5cm) wide, the second centred by a panel of a neoclassical urn in a garden, within 'jewelled' border and polychrome veined marble-effect ground, 2.2" (5.5cm) wide (2)
