A rare Bilston-type enamel nutmeg-grater of ovoid form painted with floral panels on a scroll-decorated rose pink ground, the two-part body with screw fastening enclosing a brass grater, 2.2", (5.5cm) high, together with a similar enamel egg, and a third with pale blue decoration, (3)

1. Two curled haircracks to smaller section, one to larger section. No flaking, internally sound.

2. Cracking beside metal rims - worst below hinge. Interior is vacant.

3. Two pieces of poor restoration to exterior. Minor print flaw to decoration. Very slight internal flaking beneath rim.
