Lot Description

An early 20th century American brass-cased four-glass mantel clock. Ansonia Clock Co., having a 4" white-enamelled Arabic dial stamped MADE IN USA, framing a partially visible Brocot escapement over Ansonia motif (an 'A' within a lozenge), the two-train movement striking on a coiled gong, the cylindrical case with moulded cornice over bevelled glazed doors and side panels on plinth base and toupie feet, 7.5" diameter x 12" high, (19cm x 30.5cm), with two-jar pendulum and winder
