A late 19th century mourning ring, circa 1880, the graduated split pearl line within a black enamel square surround to the black enamel shoulders and plain band. Stamped 18. Weight 3.9gms.

Overall condition fair to good with light scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. Some further small chips to enamel surround. The split pearls are fairly well matched, with one showing slightly more yellow, all with small surface blemishes Personal inscription to inner band reads 'John'. Ring size O.
