A selection of late 19th century jewellery, to include a garnet and split pearl cluster brooch, a locket with blue enamel horseshoe detail, a tortoiseshell horseshoe brooch with inlaid shell detail, a colourless paste ring and a locket. (5) Some items AF.

The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The garnet brooch has a replacement gem which is not well matched. The pin and clasp are also replacements. The blue enamel locket has small losses to the enamel and has small dents and wear to the finish. The tortoiseshell brooch has many fine cracks and small chips to the reverse and sides. The pin is a replacement and is glued in. There is a hole to the front of the brooch where the clasp was. The ring has a gilt finish, the colourless gems have moderate abrasion. The remaining locket has a split pearl and red gem cross, with small dents and discolouration. Length of lockets 3.5cms. Length of horseshoe brooch 4.6cms.
