Lot Description

An amber bead necklace, comprising twenty-nine graduated oval amber beads. Amber possibly reconstituted. Clasp deficient. Length 48cms. Weight 52.5gms.

Condition Report

Overall condition good. The clasp is deficient and would need to be replaced. The beads are opaque and unclarified with swirley white inclusions. There are wholes to the beads where gas bubbles have met the surface, the beads vary in colour some darker than others. Dimensions of central bead 24 by 19mm. dimensions of end beads 11 by 8mm.
