A Victorian 15ct gold sapphire and diamond brooch. Designed as a circular-shape sapphire and old-cut diamond cluster to the circular-shape sapphire sides with bead and rope-twist detail. Hallmarks for Chester, 1899. Length 5cms. Weight 6.9gms.

Overall condition good to fair. Minor dents and scratches in keeping with age. Sapphires medium blue, good saturation, minor surface abrasion. Estimated sapphire weight 0.50ct. Diamonds bright and well matched, slight abrasion to some. Estimated diamond weight 0.25ct.
