An early 20th century 9ct gold amethyst, peridot and split pearl brooch. Of openwork design, the circular-shape peridot within a foliate split pearl and circular-shape amethyst surround. Four split pearls deficient. Stamped 9ct. Length 3.1cms.

Condition Report
The lot is in fair to good overall condition with light scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The pin is repaired and possibly a replacement. There is a small repair to one of the collet mounts of the amethysts, possibly where a pendant mount was once attached. There is tarnish/discolouration to the front of the brooch. There are four split pearls deficient. Two split pearls possibly imitation replacements. The remaining split pearls are well matched with minor surface blemishes. The peridot is a vibrant yellowish green hue with significant abrasion to some of the upper facets. Estimated peridot weight 1ct. The amethyst are a well matched purple hue with some inclusions that slightly affect the transmission of light through the gems. The amethyst are in good condition with minor abrasion. Estimated total amethyst weight 3cts. Weight 3.9gms.
