Lot Description
A mid 19th century gold split pearl and enamel bangle. The split pearl line within a rectangular-shape blue enamel bead surround flanked by two split pearls, each within a blue enamel star surround, to the plain half-bangle. Inner diameter 5.4cms. Weight 38.7gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good. Scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. Split pearls are creamy-white with rose and greenish overtones, fairly good lustre with minor surface blemishes. Some of the pearls are slightly loose within their settings. Minor chips to enamel. Discouration in places. Personal inscription to reverse which reads 'S. C from G. N. C, 10 Nov' 1866'.
