Lot Description

An early 20th century 15ct gold peridot and split pearl bar brooch. Of foliate design, the circular-shape peridot within a split pearl petal surround to the openwork bar. Stamped 15ct. Length 5.1cms.

Overall condition good. There are slight scratches to the brooch in keeping with slight wear. There is abrasion to the facet edges of the peridot which id fairly severe and easily visible with the unaided eye. Estimated peridot weight 0.20ct. The split pearls are in good condition, they vary in shade some more peach and others more grey. The back pin and catch is secure. Weight 3.3gms.
