Lot Description

A late 19th century enamel, split pearl and diamond brooch. The old-cut diamond and split pearl star with diamond point accents, to the blue and white enamel oval plaque. Length 2.5cms. With fitted case.

Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches in keeping with general wear. Enamel in very good condition. Estimated diamond weight under 0.10ct. Split pearls well matched, cream body colour with green and rose overtones, good skins, good lustre. Unhallmarked, weight 8.7gms. Safety chain later replacement. Star is slightly loose in setting.
