Lot Description
Edwardian silver photograph frame of square form, the embossed silver applied as a pierced floral form with vacant cartouche and surround to the circular frame with domed glass, hallmarked D G Collins Ltd Birmingham 1903, height measuring 6 inches (15.5 cm). Together with a second Edwardian silver mounted photograph frame of plain circular form, hallmarked Birmingham 1903, diameter measuring 6 3/4 inches (17 cm). (2).

Condition Report
Both photograph frames display general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The first example displays numerous small holes and breaks/tears in the fine areas of the embossing with some more significant tears to ether top corners of the piece, the material lining and leather back displays obvious deterioration, the swivel pin holder the back from in place has been crudely replaced, the hallmarks are clear the makers mark very distorted. The second example displays quite a few dints and bumps, pins are also missing holding the silver mount in place, the material lining and backing is heavily discoloured and deteriorated, the hallmarks appear rubbed but legible.
