Lot Description

Edwardian Irish silver footed bowl of raised circular form with wrythen line embossing divided with various depictions of animals amongst floral and fruiting motif and raised above three lion mounted paw feet. Hallmarked Dublin 1901, with the maker's mark J.S. Height measuring 2 3/4 inches (7 cm), weight 6 ozt (188 grams).

The bowl displays general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. There are some splits to the silver along the frilled rim. One of the feet does not sit flat  on the floor. The cartouche currently vacant. The detail to the decoration displays a little rubbing to the definition. The halllmarks also a little rubbed but clearly legible.
