The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers at the front of our catalogue for coloured gemstones. The purple red star ruby has significant inclusions that significantly affect the transmission of light through the gem. The asterism is weak under natural daylight but strong and focused under a spotlight. There are many surface reaching fractures.
