Lot Description

A 20th century 9ct gold keyless wind open face pocket watch signed J.W. Benson London, the white enamel dial with black Roman numerals, bordered by a minute track, subsidiary seconds dial positioned to six o'clock, plain case hallmarked Birmingham 1929, signed movement with club tooth lever escapement. Case diameter 49mm. Total weight 85gms.

J.W. Benson pocket watch, keyless wind movement is currently functioning, couple of tiny marks to the dial, light cracks between five o'clock and the centre and five o'clock and eleven o'clock, few tiny marks to the hands, there are no scratches to the glass visible to the naked eye, case has medium scratches and tiny dints, small dents to the side of the case, rubbing to the plating of the bow.
