Lot Description

An 18k gold keyless wind Double Eagle gold coin watch by Vacheron & Constantin, the sunburst effect champagne tone dial having black baton hour markers, the plain inner case, stamped 18k with poincon, reference 4928, the outer case made from a twenty dollar Double Eagle coronet coin dated 1904, signed seventeen jewel calibre 1003. Case diameter 35mm. Total weight 33gms.

Condition Report

A Vacheron Constantin coin watch. Ultra-thin manual wind movement is currently functioning. Dial, hands and glass all look to be in a generally good condition. Inner case has a few light scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with material. Outer coin case is in a similar condition, the detail looks to be crisp and barely rubbed. Catch is quite tight. Bow is quite loose.
