Lot Description

A George III silver key wind open face pocket watch, the white dial with black Roman numerals, bordered by a minute track, case with engine turn detail and vacant cartouche, hallmarked London 1761, movement signed Sam Norton London with a pierced and engraved balance cock, square shaped pillars with verge escapement. Case diameter 46mm

Key wind pocket watch, movement is not currently functioning, watch will need some attention to be put back into working order, dial is marked with chips in enamel between twelve and one o'clock and four and seven o'clock, hands are both tarnished and mismatched, glass is scratched with debris underneath the surface, engine turn detail on case has slightly rubbed, case is scratched with some dints in various places.
