Lot Description

A gold filled keyless wind open face pocket watch signed A. Yewdall, Leeds, the white enamel dial with black Roman numeral hour markers, sunken subsidiary seconds dial to six o'clock with Arabic divisions, outer minute track, plain Keystone case, fitted with a signed fifteen jewel Elgin National Watch Company movement with damascene detail to plates, club tooth lever escapement, cut bi-metal compensation balance, overcoil hairspring and Elgin micro-regulator. Case diameter 48mm.

A gold keyless wind pocket watch, the movement is currently functioning, there are a few tiny marks on the dial and a small scratch over the subsidiary seconds dial, the hands are discoloured, there are a few light scratches on the glass and chips at the edge, the case is lightly scratched, there are tiny dints on the case back.
