Lot Description

A George III silver key wind pair case pocket watch, the white dial with hourly applied black Arabic numerals, bordered by a minute track, plain round case, hallmarked Birmingham 1814, fitted with a gilt full plate fusee and chain movement signed Parkin of Measham, having verge escapement and pierced balance cock. Outer case diameter 55mm.

Pair case pocket watch, movement is not functioning, dial is scratched and heavily cracked, with portions of the dial missing, there is noticeable wear to paint work, hands are scratched and marked from use, case is heavily scratched from use, outer case is scratched and dented, pusher to case is missing, outer case does not close securely, inner case is scratched and showing dints to metal, hinges are all functioning, bow and pendant scratched.
