Lot Description

A George I silver key wind pair case pocket watch signed Etherington, London, the silver dial with Roman numeral hour markers alternating with diamond form markers, surrounded by an outer minute track with Arabic divisions, plain cases, fitted with a gilt full plate fusee and chain movement, signed Etherington, London, verge escapement and pierced balance cock. Outer case diameter 55mm.

A silver pocket watch, movement is currently functioning, dial shows signs of wear and is scratched, areas of discolouration, hands are marked and discoloured, case is scratched, should polish out, would benefit from a clean, case has medium scratches caused by general wear, with areas if pitting, thin dents at the edge of the case, and a few dents on the case back, areas of discolouration, crown shows signs of wear and has an area of discolouration. case has medium scratches and is dented and discoloured, tiny dints.
