Lot Description

A George III silver key wind pair case pocket watch signed Higgs & Evans, London, the white enamel dial with hourly applied Roman numerals, bordered by a minute track with Arabic divisions, round cases hallmarked London 1828, fitted with a signed gilt full plate fusee and chain movement with verge escapement and pieced balance cock. Outer case diameter 49mm.

A key wind pocket watch, movement is not currently functioning, dial is scratched and has tiny marks, minute track beginning to show signs of wear, a few tiny chips, hands are marked and discoloured, glass is scratched, some of the marks may polish out, deeper marks may remain, case has medium scratches caused by general wear, thin line of scuffs at the edge of the case, tiny dints, areas of discolouration, wear and rubbing to the crown, outer case has medium scratches and is discoloured, tiny dints.
