A George III key wind silver pair case repousee pocket watch signed J Samson, the white enamel dial with hourly applied Roman numerals, bordered by a minute track with Arabic divisions, central painted nautical scene, the inner case hallmarked 1792, the outer with repousse decoration depicting prisoners brought before a conqueror, fitted with a signed gilt full plate fusee and chain movement with verge escapement and decorated, pierced balance bridge.
